It doesn’t concern me.

That mindset — “it’s none of my business” — can never make this nation great. Until we begin to stand up for justice and righteousness, we will all continue to suffer the consequences.

1. Boko Haram started in the North: “it’s none of my business.” Today, we are all suffering because it has spread across the nation.

2. Kidnapping began in the East: “it doesn’t affect us, so it’s none of our business.” Now, everyone is affected.

3. Online loan apps began gaining ground after 2019. Today, millions of Nigerians are suffering, yet many still say, “it’s none of our business” because they don’t borrow from them.

4. Issues with the electoral process — including rigging — are often ignored with the mindset, “whoever wins, we’ll support.” Now, millions are suffering due to poor policies and leadership.

Until we stand up for justice and righteousness, we will remain in the hands of oppressors, and more evil will continue to grow.

It’s time for you and me to speak out.
